Startups compete against no one giving a sh*t — The real challenge
Last I write an article about my website. I found an interesting quote from Justin Kan, founder of Twitch.
“Startups mostly don’t compete against each other, they compete against no one giving a shit”
Now, this is really relatable. Wow. 2 months and still few organic users. Team, who are more tech than marketing people. So I have a feeling, that within a few months I will be alone again to do this startup. First, it is important to understand why we start this website. I write an article a few days ago.
Now, this is the start of the journey. The Apple App Store has over 1.5 million apps. Amazon carries well over 200 million products. As consumers, users have way too many choices and way too little time. So as a startup with limited resources, how can we break through the noise and create a following? Still have no idea. but read a few articles on the internet. Most people write about branding.
A business’s branding is more important than you might think. On the outside, your brand may seem like it consists only of elements such as logos and colors, but your brand is actually the entire identity of your business. Your brand gives you personality.
So from today, I am focusing on branding today. All logos colors everything. Also, start planning to introduce my brand to startups. Will try to share my experience with you in the next blog.
