A few months ago, I started playing video games as a hobby. It’s been an exciting and fun experience, even though I play on a simple office laptop and not a special gaming machine. I also began recording my gameplay videos to upload on YouTube, which added another layer of enjoyment to my gaming adventures.

Here are some of the free-to-play games I’ve been enjoying across various genres:

  1. War Thunder: A thrilling game that combines air, land, and sea battles. You can pilot aircraft, control tanks, and command warships. https://youtu.be/f1CKJdAMSPI
  2. Brawlhalla: A fast-paced fighting game with many different characters to choose from. It’s like a virtual wrestling match where you can jump, punch, and throw your opponents off the stage. https://youtu.be/GgXMe1C15d4
  3. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI: A strategy game where you build and expand your empire from the ancient times to the modern age. It’s like playing a grand game of chess but with cities and armies. https://youtu.be/uZ1h95Q1s6k
  4. Albion Online: An open-world MMORPG where you can explore, fight, craft, and trade in a medieval fantasy world. https://youtu.be/27qCgGNiciI
  5. Counter-Strike 2: A first-person shooter game where you can team up with friends or strangers to complete missions and outsmart the opposing team.
  6. Genshin Impact: An action role-playing game set in a beautiful open world. You can explore, fight monsters, and uncover the mysteries of the land. https://youtu.be/LqKibOtW0nM

Where to Find More Games

If you’re interested in finding more games like these, there are two main platforms you should check out:

  • Steam: Steam is a popular platform with a huge library of games, including many free-to-play options. You can browse different genres, read reviews, and join a community of gamers.
  • Epic Games Launcher: Epic Games offers a selection of free games every week. It’s a great way to build up your game library without spending any money.

Recording and Streaming Your Gameplay

If you want to share your gaming experiences with others, you can use OBS Studio. It’s a free software that allows you to record and live stream your gameplay. You can set it up to capture your screen, add a webcam feed, and even include overlays to make your streams look professional.

Exploring Creativity with Blender

Besides gaming, I’ve also been exploring Blender 4.1, a powerful 3D modeling and animation software. It’s a great tool for creating your own 3D art, animations, and even game assets. Whether you’re interested in making short films, designing game characters, or just playing around with 3D models, Blender offers endless creative possibilities.

Starting my gaming journey has been a lot of fun, and it’s something I’d recommend to anyone looking for a new hobby. Whether you’re playing on a high-end gaming PC or a simple office laptop, there are plenty of free-to-play games out there to enjoy. And if you want to share your gameplay with the world, tools like OBS Studio and Blender can help you create and share amazing content. Happy gaming!
