Hello World: Buggy Coin 1 — BUGC
Cryptocurrencies have so much process time, also they are using so much electricity. New currencies are a lot better in terms of bitcoin. But still, they are using electricity, and process time is still not practical.
I just saw news of the Chinese “digital yuan”. The country’s new Digital Currency Electronic Payment (DCEP) — a digital payment and processing network run by the Central Bank of China — and its digital currency, the digital yuan (e-CNY), is expected to completely replace physical cash. Unveiled in 2019, the DCEP began its trial in April 2020 and has been slowly rolled out in major cities including Shanghai, Chengdu, and Beijing.
So I started a project today (6th October 2021). Without any planning. Just a fake digital currency app to learn the complexities behind the e-CNY and other like projects. For now, the plan is to just make a digital currency and distribute it with friends. We friends try to simulate a financial system with my currency and let us see, what challenges we face.
The project name is “Buggy Coin” (BUC) and it is not based on crypto technology.
This is an Opensource project, I started to write in JS and host on Firebase. For now, my planing is to create this project on GCP. Fingers crossed.
Why Buggy Coin?
We are the developers and face bugs in our daily routine so from “Bugs” I just write the name buggy. Just make this name when making a repo so not any planning or special research I do for this project.
